Preaching at Cairo Cathedral

28249278224_654cf2c6f2_kLast weekend I provided locum cover for the Revd Kerry Buttram. Dean of the Anglican Cathedral in Cairo. It was a privilege to be invited to preside and preach at the English speaking services on the Friday and Sunday. The lectionary gospel reading was the story of the Canaanite woman with the demon possessed daughter told in Matthew 15. My sermon was entitled “Are you desperate enough for Jesus?”

CE is available in Arabic as well as in English with Arabic subtitles.
