The Revd Dave Smith, my host during the recent lecture tour of Australia, invited me to preach at Holy Trinity, Dulwich Hill, Sydney. I expounded John 13, The Time has Come.

It was a beautiful service with heavenly music, warm fellowship, a very diverse church family with lots of children and first class coffee afterwards. Recommended if you are visiting Sydney on a Sunday.

Father Dave, as he is also known, is both the oldest professional boxer and the only ordained vicar active in the sport. He has made six visits to Syria in recent years to promote peace and reconciliation combining theology, diplomacy, dialogue and sport.
