A New Era for Kagera Christian Theological College, Tanzania

We are delighted to learn of the appointment of a new Principal at Kagera Christian Theological College (KCTC) in Tanzania. The Revd Phocas Nshimirimana takes over the leadership from The Revd Canon Absalom Vyankende.

Fr. Phocas’ current Vision is the introduction of a Certificate in Theology Course to run side by side with the current Diploma in Theology, the Historical Evangelistic Courses and English Courses. All this is expected to start by 3rd August 2020.

Stephen was due to return to KCTC to teach a course on the Christology of the Old Testament in May, but this has had to be postponed due to Covid-19. He previously taught the course at KCTC in October 2018.

Stephen was also a member of the Christianity Explored East Africa team who visited Kagera to train clergy in October 2018 and October 2019.

The Right Revd Darlington Bendankeha, Bishop of Kagera Diocese visited the college recently to open the newly renovated theological library. Read more about developments at Kagera in their latest newsletter.
