During Refugee Week, members of Southampton and Winchester Visitors Group invited visitors to Winchester Cathedral to write messages of support to people seeking asylum and also postcards to the Home Secretary expressing their views on UK asylum policy.

The SWVG Refugee Bus also visited Wickham Market and found residents similarly enthusiastic to welcome those seeking asylum and challenge the government over its approach to refugees.
