In April, at the invitation of Bishop Nathan Amooti, Stephen returned to Cyangugu Theological School in Rwanda to teach a course on Judaism to students training for Christian ministry in the Diocese.
The course included teaching on the history of Judaism, Jewish customs, holy days and festivals. The student also explored the significance of the land, Jerusalem, temple and Messianic hope in the Hebrew and Christian scriptures. Other modules include Islam and traditional African religions.
Cyangugu is situated in South West Rwanda on Lake Kivu across the Congo border from Bukavu.
