Goshen School Library Appeal

Shadrach Lukwago is the founder and director of Goshen School in Luweero, Uganda. He is also a pastor, coordinator for Christianity Explored in Uganda and Kiwoko Hospital pharmacist. He and his wife Nora also care for numerous orphans.

Eight years ago Christ Church, Virginia Water, raised sufficient funds to provide a well and three classrooms for the school.

Goshen school now has 800 pupils of whom 300 are boarders. The well provides clean water for the entire community.

The school has two dormitories but is desperate for an extension costing £4,000 as they have more girls than boys and the girls sleep on bunks stacked three high.  The school also needs a building to house the library costing £3,000.

Local families, so grateful for the school in their community, as well as for access to safe clean water, are donating bricks and timber for the new buildings.

If you wish to contribute you can do so through the Friends of Kiwoko Hospital where Shadrach serves as a pharmacist, indicating that your donation is for Goshen school dormitory or library.
