During the last week of November, I spoke at several events in Kuala Lumpur at the invitation of the University of Malaya, Hashim Sani Centre for Palestine Studies, the Centre for Civilisational Dialogue and also the International Institute for Advanced Islamic Studies.

The International Institute for Advanced Islamic Studies and Hashim Sani Centre for Palestine Studies hosted a two day international conference on Palestine studies. I gave a lecture on a Christian Response to Israeli Apartheid. Read my text here.


Parliamentary Briefing for Malaysian MPs

I was invited to give two briefings to Malaysian MPs on the plight of Palestinians and in particular the Christian Palestinian community. As my luggage had not yet arrived from Singapore one of the MP’s bought me a pair of trousers to enable to me to enter the Parliament building.

IKIM is the Islamic radio station based in Kuala Lumpur broadcasting 24 hours. I was interviewed about Palestine, the heresy of Christian Zionism and about how to achieve a just and lasting peace in Palestine based on international law. View the recording here.

Senior Scholar: Hashim Sani Centre for Palestine Studies

Professor Dr Mohd Nazari Ismail, Director of the Hashim Sani Centre for Palestine Studies and Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Malaya, appointed me Senior Non-Resident Scholar of the HSCPS.
